McKenzie D. I received my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in reading in 2023. I have also recently received my Master’s in Technology Leadership and Management in 2024. I am proud to say that both degrees were obtained from Purdue Northwest! Professional interests: During my time as a graduate student at PNW, I received the Graduate Student of the Year Award. I believe this is testament to not only the many opportunities that PNW afforded me, but also how I was able to use those opportunities to give back to the campus and community. Therefore, my hope is that I can help students reach their full potential, step out of their comfort zones, and realize that they too, can reach the stars! What would people be surprised to know about you? I was born in Texas AND I am left-handed! What do you love about PNW? I love that PNW is big enough to have a real college experience, but also tight knit enough that all of my professors know me on a personal level. I believe that this allowed me to fully reach my potential as a student. Best college search tip: Go on as many college campus tours as you can! It is important to attend a campus tour so you can discover the college that feels like home to you.
